An Offseason of Questions
by Paul Kingston

All offseason, Lamar has heard the same question: Where are you going to be next season?

His answer has been unwavering. As he told Broderick Turner of the Press Enterprise on Tuesday, he wants to be a Laker, but understands the realities of the NBA.

"I'm 100 percent down for the Lakers," Odom said. "But you have to understand that this is a business. Nobody likes to be traded off their team. But if you do, hopefully your game protects you and puts you in a situation where it's comfortable, as far as being accepted by the other organization."

LO also mentioned that he had spoken to Kobe Bryant, who had demanded to be traded earlier in the summer, and then rescinded that demand.

Odom said he spoke with Bryant late last week.

"I couldn't tell if he was frustrated," Odom said. "But for us to have a conversation, obviously something had to be up."

Could Odom gauge whether Bryant wanted to be traded or remain with the Lakers?

"I have no idea," Odom said. "Nor would I ever ask him that."

Lamar will never be traded

Lamar will never be traded from the Lakers, he is too valuable of an assest. Lakers, with kobe's situation do not want to start over! This will jeopardize the Laker fan base support causing millions of loss revenue.  Lamar, please continue to train hard, this season Laker fans know you are the key  for the team success. This has to be your year to be an allstar. You have to be the second option and help Kobe with the scoring load, you are very capable of this. Good Luck with the offseason training, hope to see you dominate this coming season. God bless!
